Taking Further Action to Protect & Safely Reopen Schools

With the gradual reopening of more schools, more than 520,000 students across Ontario will be able to learn in-person. The Government awaits the approval from the Chief Medical Officer of Health to open schools in all regions of the province. To support the safe return of students and staff to the classroom, Minister Lecce announced our government is introducing additional measures and an additional $381 million in investments to further protect students and staff:
