The government has introduced several measures that have greatly reduced need for in-person service at ServiceOntario centres and promoted physical distancing to help protect staff and customers.
Expiry date of several key products has been extended – including health cards and drivers licences, introduced customer screening prior to entry, reduced hours of operations at various locations, deployed and promoted enhanced cleaning measures and have hired security to assist with the flow of customers. In addition to these new measures, our government has urged Ontarians to complete transactions online – where over 40 services, including the top most common transactions, are available.
The government continues to follow the advice of the Ministry of Health to ensure we are implementing all that we can to best safeguard the health and safety of staff.
