Today, Statistics Canada released its monthly employment numbers, which showed an increase in employment in Ontario.
This month’s increase in employment numbers shows that Ontario’s economy is continuing to stabilize. According to Statistics Canada, employment in Ontario increased by 36,600 in November, which represents the sixth straight month of employment increases. Over that period, employment has increased by over 905,000. Of note, employment in manufacturing is now 13,200 above pre-COVID levels.
